How to Size a Custom Team Order Without a Fitting Day
Getting an entire roster into one room to try on sample sizes almost never happens. Between work schedules, away players, and mid-season signings, most teams end up guessing at sizes — and guessing wrong means a reorder that pushes your delivery date back by weeks. Here's how to get it right the first time.
Start With a Size Chart, Not a Guess
Every product we manufacture has a size chart with actual body measurements — chest, waist, and length — not just S/M/L labels. Send this to every player or parent and have them measure against a tape, not against a shirt they already own. Existing shirts stretch, shrink, and vary between brands; a body measurement doesn't.
Collect a Size Run, Not Just a Headcount
Instead of asking "how many players," collect a size run — a breakdown of exactly how many of each size you need (e.g. 4 × S, 9 × M, 6 × L, 2 × XL). A simple shared spreadsheet or form works fine. This is what actually goes into production, so it needs to be exact, not rounded.
Order a Buffer, Not Exact-to-Roster
Rosters change — a new signing, a lost jersey, a growth spurt mid-season. Ordering 2–3 extra units across your most common sizes costs very little compared to placing a second, smaller order later (which usually costs more per unit and takes longer, since it's outside your original production run).
When in Doubt, Ask for a Fit Sample First
If your team has never ordered from us before, we can produce a single fit sample in one size before you commit to a full size run. It's the fastest way to confirm our sizing matches what your team expects, especially for performance-fit products like kits and leggings.
